Hotel a Cumberland Head

“For a one-night stay, it was a fine hotel. But, the one thing that will keep us from staying at a Microtel again was the shower - or lack of a shower. The water pressure was non-existent and there was no way to adjust the direction of the water - just straight down. Worst shower ever!”

“What I liked about this motel was that it was on a private beach and close to all stores. Parking was good and convenient, the view from our room was excellent. What was not to my liking was there was no one at the front desk the entire time we were there and no maid service( fresh towels, toilet paper, ect).”

“Our experience at Lang House was not good, someone broke into our car (which was parked in their parking lot, behind the house) car and stole our house keys and car fob. As a result we have had to spend $400 to replace our car fob.”

“Room 128 was not cleaned after we returned to the room later, help desk said all the maids called out? So asked for another room! A/C would not work! Check out a day early and went somewhere else.”

“The indian guy in the front desk was so racist, put us on the first floor because we were asians and it was our first time there - he was so rude!”

“We were welcomed by very warm and kind folks at the inn. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and property as a whole. Breakfast was great! Fruits and danishes were left out for guests.”

“My family stayed at the motel six in Colchester for one night while my daughter ran the Burlington marathon on Memorial Day weekend. Our rooms were very clean and we felt safe all the time. Be aware that this hotel houses homeless people. People in their first floor leave their curtains open and it’s very evident that they are not there for a short day. All guests and residents were very respectful. I was satisfied with my stay for the price.”
